Prevelo has been refining this bike almost every year. The 2020/2021 version gets improved stand-over, slacker Head Angle and upgraded wheelset/tires. I’m trying to decide between the spawn yama jama, prevelo Zulu 4 heir and the trailcraft spawn. My son is pretty light (50 LBS 4’2″) and we bike mostly Colorado front range trails. Any thoughts on how these wound compare? Thanks
Very similar bikes. The Zulu 4 is a little slacker/longer so will be more stable descender and has more gearing range. The Spawn will be quicker turning and more lively, better in a skills bike park/dirt jump/pump track environment but also very good on the trails. Same great fork on both.
