"Some bikes you have to see in action to truly appreciate. The guys at Pello nailed the fit, weight and geometry for this all rounder! From the neighborhood to the skatepark to the dirt jumps to singletrack, the Reyes excelled everywhere it should. Skeptical of mechanical disc brakes and grip shift for a 24 inch mountain bike, I found them to work great for the intended use of this little machine...pretty much everywhere a kid rides a bike." -Colin
This looks like a very good bike. I am also comparing this against the Vitus Nucleus 24, which Iooks like it was more value for the money until the price spiked way up. How do these two bikes compare?
The RST air fork on the Pello works a little better than the spinner fork ad you will be able to get seals if needed. Better MTB drivetrain on Vitus also better MTB tires. The Pello has better mixed use tires and a nicer wheelset. The Vitus has better brakes, hydraulic vs mechanical discs. In sum, the Vitus is a better MTB and the Pello better as hybrid (sees both neighborhood and trails).
