The Spawn Rokkusuta 20 inch was born to get more 5-8 year olds out in lift accessed bike park terrain. We had our 5 year old give it a go in the world famous Whistler Bike Park and the all mountain trails that surround our community bike park. A scaled down forward geometry trail ripper, this bike will make any bike dad or mom drool. The Rokkusuta, along with a hand full of other 20 inch full suspension bikes, are redefining the type of terrain kids can ride and that means redefining the type of riding you can do with your kids! Thanks to Spawn for providing a demo bike for this review.

The Bike Dads' Take:
"A lot of time and effort was spent in the spec of this bike. Most impressive, the 20 inch Brood fork was specifically developed for this bike to insure great performance and ease of maintenace (seal kits readily available, yay!). The suspension set up is a bit tricky as your dealing with such small amounts of air pressure in the shock and fork but once set, we were super stoked on how well it sucks up the bumps and uses its full travel. Ripping Whistler Bike Park with my 5 year old was an amazing experience and one only possible with a bike like this! Our 5 year old tester even managed to climb the bike relatively well despite the increased weight over his hard tail; surely a result of its impressive Horst Link suspension and fast rolling Kenda small block tires. This increased the versatility of the bike from lift access to all mountain terrain with easy climbs, something that surprised us." -Colin
