This bike serves a specific purpose. If you and the family spend the majority of time on dirt descending trails, this is the 14 inch bike for you. Kiddo needs to be a master of the balance bike and be quite adventurous to warrant a bike like this however. Prevelo makes fantastic bikes and the Alpha series will be a more appropriate bike for most 3-5 year olds. But, for the minority who are out in the sustained descending single track with tow ropes each weekend, this is the ticket. Thanks to Prevelo for providing us with a Zulu 1 to facilitate this review.

The Bike Dads' Take:
"This Bike opens up longer riding with the anti-fatigue hydraulic disc brakes and slack, low and long stable geometry. All this makes for a very unique bike in the category of 14 inch bikes. We grab the tow ropes every weekend and go looking for fun mellow sustained descending single track. This is the best bike we have tried for adventurous three year olds for this purpose. " -Jack
