The Bike Dads' Take:
"This Bike hits the holy grail of a 16 inch kids bike: light weight, great geometry, and a free-wheel. This was my small 4 year olds first attempt on a 16 inch bike and it delivered. With a the low stand over/minimum seat height and easy to pull brake levers, we were hitting the local downhill flow trails and dirt jumps on day one. Around the neighborhood, my little guy was tackling the small hills with ease and flying down the back alley. And with 1 1/8 inch steer tube diameter, I have a special project planned for this little machine!" -Colin
Hi – In terms of “gain ratio,” is the gearing of the Woom 2 lighter or heavier than the Alpha? Thanks!
3.75 for Alpha vs 4.01 for Woom 2…so the prevelo is a bit “easier” of a gear.
